ARRI HMI M40 4000W

Part of ARRI’s M series, the M40 is a lensless system that combines the advantages of Fresnel and PAR lamps. The unit is open and thus very bright, about 30% brighter than an AS40 in spot mode. Thanks to its unique patented MAX Technology reflector, it is also focusable over a range of 18° to 52° peak angles.

The M40 provides remarkably uniform beam distribution, projecting sharp shadows across the entire focus range. The reflector characteristics are optimized for 4,000 W lamps but can also be used with 2,500 W lamps.

The lamp head is equipped with a CCL (Cable Loss Compensation) module. When used with the ARRI EB 2.5/4 kW High-Speed AutoScan with CCL, full power is maintained all the way to the lamp, even when very long cables are used. This ensures consistently high luminous output, regardless of cable length.
